Day 4: A New Day, A New Year, A New Beginning

Happy Birthday Mom!!! Another great day. I started the day off with an early morning bike ride. That's pretty cool to do on Jan. 1. When I got home I was exhausted (hills will kill you). Of course, as soon as I rode up the boys were waiting in the garage to go for a ride. We went for a long ride (the 1st half all downhill & the 2nd half all up hill). New house rule: boys always have to wear helmets when riding their bikes. Justin went out of control & crashed in a bed of pine needles & into a bush. No injuries, besides, chicks dig scars. Anyway, we then spent the afternoon checking things out. We went to the Cary Amphitheatre (pics above), & then to downtown Raleigh. Everything was closed but it was really cool. We saw the museum, the capitol building, the governor's mansion. Too much stuff to do. I'm looking forward to getting into the office tomorow and getting a routine started. Happy New Year!! Happy New Year to everyone!!! Shaun pretty much covered everything above. Don't get too worried about Justin, I didn't see it but Shaun said he didn't really cry and obviously didn't get hurt. Tomorrow we go to get Owen all set for school and then he'll start on Wednesday. He's getting anxious to get started in a routine also and he's very anxious to make friends. We haven't met any neighbors yet but it's only been 4 days. Well, that's all for today!!
