Last weekend in January!

We had a nice weekend! Saturday was a decent day 65 degrees and sunny we took a trip to a few local parks, one in Cary and one in Raleigh. The boys had a great time, it was nice to get out of the house and exert some energy!! Justin finished the week with a great start to school. He is loving it!! The teachers can't believe how wonderful he is doing and how it feels like he's been there all year. He's learning sign language and they are starting to blend sounds together to start reading!! Owen is pluggin away! We sign him up for t-ball this week and he'll start the end of April, he's excited about that!! Now with Justin in school and Shaun getting on a regular schedule life is starting to feel normal again! There are some good pics above of Owen's toothless grin!! Hope everyone had a great weekend!!!

Love from all of us!!!!

Justin's first day of school!!!

Well, we finally found a preschool for Justin!! His first day was today and he did awesome! The teachers said he was excellent and it felt like he'd been there since the beginning of the school year. He had a great day! He would NOT let me take a picture of him this morning so the pics that I did get were the ones above, stinker.
I forgot to mention last week we had a little bit of snow on Thursday (like not even a half inch) and they cancelled school!! It was melted by the time school would've started. They don't mess around down here. What little snow they had the kids in Justin's class were talking about snowball fights they had!!! We were all laughing at how they freak out down here about a tiny bit of snow. Friday they delayed school for 2 hours because they were maybe going to get some freezing rain!! Well, Owen wasn't complaining!!!
Well hope everyone is doing wonderful!!!
Until next time,
Love the NC Livernois Crew!

Remember when....

Remember when Justin was always soaking with drool and you still had to kiss him even though it felt like you were kissing a St. Bernard? Remember when Justin's doggy was clean and fluffy? Remember when Justin started smiling he never stopped even still smiling and giggling?

Remember when Owen's hair was short and he didn't care how it was cut? Remember when Owen was Capt. Feathersword for a year and then Spiderman for a year? Remember when Owen started talking and he never stop even still always talking and asking questions?

"As I grow to understand life less and less, I learn to love it more and more."

The past week has been pretty uneventful. The boys have been battling the flu/cold and I've been Dr. Mom. Justin was supposed to start school today but was feeling real bad yesterday. He's much better today and will be going on Wednesday so stay tuned for his first day of school pics.

Toothless

Hi everyone,

Just a quick update. If you read the previous blog entry Owen lost his front tooth (so cute). I had a cute pic of the boys having a snack of chocolate chip cookies and milk. They are both sick with the flu today (not throwing up or anything, just fever, aches, congestion). They both seemed to be better this evening after sleeping on and off most of the day (they'll probably be up all night now). Anyhow, just wanted to share the pics. Take care!

Jamie

Family Weekend

Today was so much fun!!! Although, Owen has been running a temperature off and on we were able to still have some fun (as you can see by the pictures). The weather was sunny and about 75 degrees. It was great playing at the beach in the middle of January. We took our guests over to Jordan Lake and Apex Community Park and then just hung out around the house and played outside. The kids are having a blast and Owen is hanging in there depsite whatever illness he is trying to fight off. We all had a great weekend and are so glad Pat, Melissa, and Kenz made the trip.

Love,

Shaun, Jamie, Owen, Justin, Pat, Melissa, and Kenz

P.S. Owen lost his front tooth! (no pics though he was a little upset about it and wasn't ready to take a pic, remember he wasn't feeling that good today).

Happy Birthday to Owen!!!

Hi ya'll! It's been a nice easygoing week. Shaun has been in San Diego looking for boats and the boys and I it's been business as usual. Owen is really enjoying school and is pretty settled into his new routine. Justin and I have been enjoying the time together and have been playing games and working on projects together. Today is obviously Owen's birthday! Thank you to all of you who have sent cards to Owen or just sent cards to the boys just because (U. Ken and A. Pam). Owen had a nice party at school and shared Oreo's and milk with his classmates. We went to dinner at Cheeburger Cheeburger and the boys thought that was a pretty neat place, then we came home and had some cake and ice cream. Now the boys are just playing with the new toys and games, having fun. I can't believe 6 years have already gone by, it seems like it was just yesterday that we were bringing him home from the hospital. My, my, how so much has changed in just 6 years. Six years ago I never would've imagined that we would be living in another state, "who'da thunk it" ;-) Well, it has been a most wonderful 6 years, Owen has really added a spark to life for all us!

Until next time....Have a wonderful day..

Greetings from San Diego

Hola mi amigos,

I am broadcasting live from San Diego where it has been sunny & in the 70's. What a great place. I highly recomend putting it on the list of places to visit. I just love this place. It has a temperate climate, a bayview of the Pacific Ocean, tons of stuff to do, shopping, restaurants, & a FANTASTIC nightlife. I am meeting people from all over the world (in the city & at the conference). I have learned so much from these people & I look forward to meeting many more people to learn from. I spent a great deal of time yesterday at them bay & the marina & I picked out the boat we are going to buy. It is just a starter for now. It is a 1991 45 footer for 249K. I know it's small, but keep in mind it's just our starter. There was a huge boat show yesterday in the marina & I can't believe the boats I saw (just an inspiration for what we will get). Anyway, I have to go & get some rest, I have to be at the conference in 6 hours. Hasta manana.

Shaun

Sunny & 75

Happy Weekend Everyone,
What a glorious Saturday we had, the sun was shining and it was 75 degrees!!!! We first went to a metro park in Cary. Justin rode his scooter and Owen rode his skateboard around the greenway, we stopped at one of the baseball fields and played baseball (both boys did awesome!), then we went over to the playground and played for a bit. After that we headed over to a community park here in Apex and set out for a bike ride along the greenway. It was very crowded, with the weather being so nice everyone was out playing. The boys made it about a 1/4 of the way (2 mile trail) and then Shaun went ahead to get the car. It was a little difficult for the boys riding their bikes with all the people. They did great but we knew that it would be tough to make it the whole way around. They had a blast as you can see by the pictures and so did we.
We are LOVING it here and are looking forward to showing our visitors. Pat, Melissa, and Kenz will be taking a trip down over the MLK weekend and we have some fun things planned!!! Can't wait to see you Uncle Pat, Aunt Sissa, and Kenz!!!
Love to all!!!
