Well, it was another busy week in NC. Justin had his first basketball game on Monday (make sure you check out the game video below). He did great, scoring a couple of baskets and he is having alot of fun. Owen has been keeping busy on the sports side as well. We had 2 hockey practices this week. He is really having alot of fun, and so am I with the coaching. The kids have really improved over the course of 2 weeks and Owen and I are really looking forward to our game next week. On Wednesday night, Owen & I went to the Hurricanes game. They lost, but Owen had alot of fun, and he is even starting to understand the game of hockey and pointed out some of the things we learned in practice. Last Sunday we went to the park with some friends to fly some kites. Not much luck with the kites because there wasn't much wind, but, some college kids were "sledding" on the hill at the park with some cardboard. Of course, our kids thought it was really cool, so when the college kids left, they gave our kids the cardboard and they had a ball. This morning owen and I went over to Bond Lake and tried a little fishing. It just wasn't our day, we only got a couple of bites and didn't catch anything. Even so, it was a beautiful morning and a nice day on the lake. This afternoon we all went to the Hurricanes game. It was a great game so we tailgated before the game. The boys had alot of fun at the game. Five minutes in to the game there was a good fight, and of course, they loved it. I had a hard time at the game. I couldn't decide what to watch, the game, or the cheerleaders. Good thing I have a hot wife.

Great job with the roundball Justie. Keep up the good work and have fun.....And Owen, looks like you and your dad had a good time out in the boat. Keep trying buddy the big one is still in there....

Looks like the Huricanes games are fun, but sorry guys there is nothing like being at a game in HOCKEYTOWN!!!!

What a great update, the boys look so big. Maybe you guys could take papa and I sleding on our next visit. Justin you are a really with that basket ball, and Owen you did a pretty good job at handeling that boat. Love and miss you guys. Mom xoxo
ReplyDeletei would like to talk about Owen's last comment on the video...."Philadelphia Stinks!" Now i know they're not the Red Wings, and sometimes would agree with the statement,but sometimes they're the only team i can watch...at least their baseball team made and is still in teh playoffs
