Well, day 2 was another great one! Owen was up at 5:30 a.m. anxious to ride his heely's in the garage. Both boys slept great and were excited to have their beds back. Shaun and I did work around the house and then after lunch we headed over to Jordan Lake to show the boys and play around for awhile. They had a blast and can't wait to go in the summer for picnics and swimming. We did some shopping after our trip to the lake and then came home and grilled out for dinner. The weather was about 60 - 65 and partly sunny today. Still very nice for December 30th! We are getting settled in the house and it already feels like home. The boys are watching a movie right now and eating popcorn. They really like how "hilly" it is and Owen said "it's not like that in Michigan". Owen is very anxious to start school and make new friends and eat lunch at school like a big boy. Owen walked outside yesterday and today with the sun shining and said "Yep, this feels like North Carolina". Justin is just being Justin sweet and mellow goin with the flow. Well that's enough for today enjoy the pictures.

Awesome pictures! I love the one of the boys by themselves smiling at the lake. Mackenzie wants to move to NC, she said it looks like you are on vacation. Thanks for the updates we look forward to them & it's only been 2 days.....

ReplyDelete...still waiting for the first snowfall here in Michigan to build a snowman with Madison...we will send the boys some snow when it falls LOL pics are great, Shaun, you need to lose that green State hat in that one pic, if you are going to be representing MICHIGAN, at least wear the blue proud....
