Play Ball!

Saturday was opening day in Cary, NC. Owen is # 4, playing for the A’s and Justin is #20, playing for the Twins. Both boys had solid games both offensively and on the defensive side as well. Owen had an exceptional opening day. He started out on 1st base and got the 1st two outs of the game. In the batter’s box, you could see his off season training really pay off. He is looking to be one of the leaders on the squad this year. Justin was all over on the defensive side, trying to pick up some of the slack on his team. He was swinging the bat with authority. If he had his way, he would get rid of the tee. We have had some great weather hear and took a trip to the ocean last weekend. The water was still a little chilly, but that didn’t stop the kids from swimming all day. The boys have been busy and enjoying the great weather and time off school. They have had an exhausting weekend and are both passed out on the couch right now.
