Take Time To Stop & Smell The Flowers

Another great Carolina day. Pat, Melissa & Kenz spent their last day with us. We went to a great local park, but all the kids wanted to do was come home to eat and go swimming... so we did. As you can see, the kids have a blast at the pool. I think I am going to turn into a prune by the end of summer. Hope your enjoy the pics.

Bathing Beauties!

Pat, Melissa, and Kenz came into town early Saturday morning!! We were all so excited to see each other. We had a beautiful fun day down by the pool and cooking out. The kids are having a blast. Owen is addicted to Guitar Hero, he is actually really good. I think he could be a stand in with Stare Into The Sun someday. Justin is so excited because he found someone else to carry him around (Kenzie) and snuggle with him (Aunt Sissa). It's going to be another hot day today, we are going to do a little sight seeing and then head back down to the pool. Hope everyone is having a great holiday weekend!!

Fish out of water!

Owen had his 1st swim practice today. He did great. Even with his lack of formal training I think he is going to be a standout. He did freestyle, backstroke & the breaststroke. Mom & dad were really proud. Also, Justin is feeling much better and is starting to bounce back. Hopefully he can regain the 7 lbs. he lost while being sick! He was so excited to be feeling better and get in the pool and play around.

A little bit of this, a little bit of that...

Just wanted to share a couple of pics with everyone. We had a pretty quiet weekend. Owen had a game on Saturday, he is still learning and improving. As you can see in the pics, he got to hold the flag for the pledge of allegiance. He thought he was pretty cool. We went down to the pool yesterday and today (I think Owen wants to spend the whole summer there). Yesterday was a little bit chilly. Justin has had a virus all week and is just starting to perk up.
